Yowza! It's Back!! People have asked, "Whatever happened to that deal where you had two Hammond B3 organs on one stage and you had several organists going at it?" Well, we're doing it again and this time we are going to pit two Jazz players versus two Blues players. We've joined forces with the Al Downing Tampa Bay Jazz Association (ADTBJA) and the Palladium Theater to bring this extravaganza back to life. The SBS will feature Dean Germain (House of Trouble) and Michael Johnn (Angel For Blues-Juke Joint Kings) and they'll take on Stan Hunter and Ricky Lyons for the ADTBJA. The band backing these pugilists will be Vincent Sims and Beautiful Bobby Blackmon on guitars, Tbone Hamilton on bass and Ron Gregg on drums. We're hoping to get plenty of SBS members out for this show to support our team! Tickets available from the Palladium box office which is open M-F 10am-5pm. It's $12 in adv/at the door for card-carrying members and $15 at the door for non-members. The Palladium is located at 253 Fifth Ave. N in St. Petersburg. 727-822-3590
